This function can use a bit of work but it is something. Once you have one you like, you can get into a little finer editing using some familiar tools (paint, clone, blur, flatten, and sharpen) It did take a bit longer, but the use and display of the texture tiles while editing made it pretty simple and the added bonus of being able to generate some maps was cool. It has a pretty easy to use interface and can generate options quickly. It can operate as a standalone program or can be used within photoshop (it says). If you have tried to make stone seamless you would know how inherently difficult it is.īest option I found was a download called PixPlant. Here is the tiled image it generated (2x2) I didnt spend alot of time playing with it but The best result i got was setting the method to NO 3, Pre-Cropped to 2 pixels each side, Pre-Averaging Intensity 25, and I used the PNG-24 output option. You upload an image, make some selections, and it spits out a seamless image. Here is the base image I downloaded from Provia's Website this morning. I have made some seamless textures before but the process is overall pretty time consuming, especially if you don't have gimp or photoshop. I was searching for a seamless picture generator to make the process easier when the need arises to use a picture for a texture. Paint.Saw a topic earlier today and found a pretty cool tool as a result so I thought I would share.Corel Photo-Paint (Version X6 or higher) 64 bit.Corel Paint Shop Pro (Version X6 or higher) 64 bit.Corel Painter (Version 12.1 or higher) 64 bit.CorelDRAW (Version X6 or higher) 64 bit.Computerinsel Photoline 64 (Version 16 or higher) 64 bit.Adobe Illustrator (Version CS6 or higher, including CC) 64 bit.Adobe Photoshop Elements (Version 13 or higher, including CC) 64 bit.Adobe Photoshop (Version CS5 or higher, including CC) 64 bit.Any host capable of running Adobe Photoshop 64 bit compliant plugins. This software is compatible with the following hosts: This software is compatible with the following OS: v1.4 – Ability to use up to 3 GB of RAM under 32bit Windows (2000, XP, Vista) and 4 GB of RAM under 64bit Windows (2000, XP, Vista).v1.4 – Preview no longer flickers on button / slider adjustment.v1.4 – Preview image now scales correctly to zoom level. This bug will arise specifically on odd numbered horizontal and/or vertical resolutions. v1.2 – Improved “H/V Shift” and “Center H/V Seam” bug, but still problematic when applying the filter multiple times on the same image.
